Central United Reform Church, Sheffield (end of Chapel Walk opposite the Crucible)

Come along this Saturday, have your say, become a member, shape future actions, help to prioritise campaigns.
At the end of last year, David Cameron declared that austerity needs to be permanent and last month, George Osborne announced a further £25 billion in cuts so we have a to step it up a notch this year.

Loose Meeting Agenda:

  • Short report from Mhari-Anne who organised the recent successful ATOS Protest.
  • Election of delegates to The National Re-call Conference on 15 March in London.
  • Get Involved! Public forum for action and questions.

This conference will be a chance for representatives from organisations across the anti-austerity movement to come together, debate and decide on the next initiatives, events and priorities for the People’s Assembly over the coming year.

As well as People’s Assembly local groups, any supporting trade union branch, community group or campaign can send delegates and submit motions to be discussed and voted on.

We will be sending 10 delegates if you would like to be considered please contact us either via the e-mail (, Facebook or Twitter, there will be a open and public vote on who we send to report back on the years activities and plans for the future of the South Yorkshire Peoples Assembly.
